Dual Pivot
The proven patented Dual Pivot allows alignment in two dimensions, addressing performance, fit and comfort simultaneously. The axis alignment function allows the cuff to "hinge" or attach to the lower shell at different points. This enables the boot to hinge on a different axis increasing edge pressure efficiency for performance. The cuff alignment function adjusts to match the lateral angle of the cuff to the lower leg for fit and comfort.
Dual Pivot is the only system available that allows these two adjustments to occur at the same time and work together as a single unit.

LASER FALLING INSIDE THE
CENTER SEAM OF THE BOOT (KNOCK KNEED)

You will set the Dual Pivot so the cuff alignment tilts inward to follow the angle of the leg and the axis alignment flexes outward to compensate for leg angle. The boot is pre-set in a neutral position with the fastening screws on the inside and outside of the shell in position "B", the forward hole position.
To do this follow these steps:
1. You will adjust only the outer lateral plate of the shell.
2. Using the allen wrench supplied remove the center screw.
3. Using the allen wrench supplied remove the screw and washer from
hole "B".

4. Extract the plate from the cuff and rotate it 180°. Reinsert the plate to the face of the cuff.
5. Reinsert the screw and washer into the hole in position "A". Be sure the wrench is fully inserted in the screw (if it isn't you may strip the screw). Tighten securely
6. Reinsert the center screw and tighten securely.

LASER FALLING OUTSIDE THE CENTER SEAM OF THE BOOT (BOW LEGGED)
You will set the axis alignment to flex inward and the cuff alignment to the outside. To do this follow these steps:
1. You will adjust only the inner lateral plate of the shell.
2. Follow steps 2 - 6 on the inner plate.
Flex Adjustment
Starting from the neutral position, where both screws are in position "B" forward,
it is possible to move both screws to position "A" backward. This will place the hinge point further back and gives the boot a softer longitudinal flex.
NOTE - using the dual pivot mechanism for this function will negate the ability for Axis alignment.
Flex Block
Some models are supplied with 4 extra screws and bushings. After removing the plastic caps and screwing these screws in place, it is possible to block longitudinal flex of the cuff almost completely, thereby further enhancing the performance of the boot.
NOTE - using the dual pivot mechanism for this function will negate the ability for Axis alignment.
